Feb 1st ♥ 屋良朝幸 (Yara Tomoyuki)
Yaracchin joined the agency in 1994. Ever since he has been part of junior units like “Johnnys Sr.”, “Yaraemonzu”, “TOKYO浜松町” and “Musical Academy”.
Although Yaraemon is technically a junior, he is considered a senpai among juniors and even to some graduated Johnny’s. He does not only take part in plays and concerts as a dancer, but as a choreographer and actor. He has solos regularly and usually creates dance routines for debuted units.
In 2011 it was announced that he will be the solo star of a stage production for the first time. The production is an original musical titled “Douke no Hitomi”. Performances will be held at the Theatre Creation in Yurakucho, Tokyo, from April 10 to 24, 2012.

Jan 31st ♥ 薮宏太 (Yabu Kouta)
Yabu joined the agency in September, 2001. Because of his high-pitched voice and his good singing he became the leader of Johnny’s Jr. until 2004, when he released a single as the leader of “Ya-Ya-yah”. He was so big as a junior that even 赤西仁 -Akanishi Jin- phoned Yabu’s mother to ask her permission to adopt Yabu as his little brother. He was voted for “Most wanted as a little brother” and “Most wanted as a pet” in idol magazines.
While still a junior, he was chosen to form the unit “Hey! Say! BEST” and then in 2007 they graduated from juniors and formed “Hey! Say! JUMP”. Although HSJ doesn’t have a leader, he is the oldest member and usually takes the lead when special announcements need to be made, he says he is like the “oldest brother”. In HSJ, he plays the piano and the guitar and keeps writing songs (he does it since he was a junior).
A few weeks ago it was announced that he had passed the entrance exam for the Department of Human Informatics and Cognitive Sciences at Waseda University. He has promised he’ll try his best to cope with both work and study. He will start college in April. Let’s support him in this new chapter of his life.

Jan 31st ♥ 香取慎吾 (Katori Shingo)
Shingo-kun joined the agency in 1987. He was selected to become the youngest member of SMAP a year after that, releasing their first single in 1991. Shingo has ever since acted in several doramas.
Katori was once known for cross-dressing as the character “Shingo Mama” on the variety show Sata Suma; he even released a top-selling CD single “Shingo Mama no Oha Rock”, done in character. Shingo Mama’s trademark phrase is “Ohhā!” (morning!). From 2000-2001, Shingo Mama promoted the use of ohha as part of a Ministry of Education campaign to encourage family communication.
He went on to host his own English-oriented show “SmaSTATION!!” that featured mostly journalists discussing world news, as well as translation and vocabulary quizzes, where Shingo faced off against other celebrities in a battle of English comprehension.
Shingo Katori can also be seen conversing with Quentin Tarantino in the beginning of Sukiyaki Western Django. Overall, he is well known for his bright personality and his wide range of acting roles since he’s not afraid of stay in character for any show required.
